Stash buster on Craftsy

When I filmed my episode for Craftsy – Machine Quilting the Home Sweet Home Quilt,

I also filmed a quicky segment on fusing. They titled it stash buster, because you had to pick fabrics from their pile of left over fabrics at the studio.

You can watch me pick from a pile of commercial fabrics and then draw and fuse TWO, count them TWO little fused quilts at the same time.

Someone asked what you do with the little compositions afterwards. WELL you layer them with batting and backing and machine quilt them of course.

Enjoy.

Have a great weekend.

Absolutely loved that little fusing lesson! It is the perfect introduction to the fusible art quilt process – I will be passing this on to a new want to be fuser asap 🙂 Thanks Frieda!
