My newest quilt “Unfurling” has been award a ribbon at the upcoming IQA show in Houston that will take place this fall, October 31- November 5, 2017. It is made using my hand dyed cotton fabric and measures 68″ x 68″. It is in the innovative pieced category at the show. I made it using a curved pieced freezer paper template technique. This design sat on my wall for over five years before I jumped in and made it. I made the center section twice because I didn’t like the first try.
