It has just been ONE week since my class in CA at PIQF in Santa Clara. It was so warm and wonderful there, here in IL we are experiencing a drizzly fall day.
One of my students, Jennifer, has already finished her top and is getting ready to quilt it. I enjoy seeing how my students work turns out and I always hope that they find freedom in this process to create a small wall quilt that is uniquely their own. I think Jennifer has done that.
Here is her version of my pattern – Under the Sea using a kit of my hand dyed cotton fabric that is provided in the classes that I teach.
I love the descending bubbles and multiple extra fish. I know she will enjoy this quilt for years to come.
I hope everyone has a very happy quilting weekend. GO BEARS!
