The great thing about fusing art quilts is that you can use your fused scraps right up to the very last little bit.
I am currently working on making a few Tiny Landscapes.
Here is my drawing of this little landscape, Trees on the Hill. I drew it up so that I could keep my proportions correct and because it was fun to draw so small.
When I make my sky with two different colored fabrics I cut out the fabrics one laying on top of the other both fabrics face up. Then when I reassemble the two different colors I get two different sky’s to make two different landscapes.
I am off to Cleveland to teach at the Sewing and Quilting Expo and when I get back I will finish up these two tiny landscapes.
