Stripey fabric

I thought you would enjoy seeing a few more pictures from the class with Jan Myers-Newbury.

I am loving the stripey fabrics created by doing traditional Shibori and plan on incorporating them into my work. That is why I wanted to take the class with her.

 This piece of fabric was one of my hand dyed fabrics that I then wrapped and string tied and then over dyed. It turned out great.

I call this the BBB’s – Butt Bucket Brigade. We spent a lot of time at the buckets, stirring and stirring and rinsing and rinsing all in the buckets.
