This weekend I taught for the SpringTown Quilt Guild in Florence KY. They were celebrating Quilters Day OUT. I had so much fun with these ladies. My classroom was in a new building that had all the bells and whistles, exactly what you want for a class room. Great lighting, a table for everyone, electrical outlets that dropped from the ceiling for EVERY table, wonderful big windows, easy bathroom access, sinks in the room for (I hope) future dye class, a screen that dropped from the ceiling and a projector that I could plug into. IT WAS FABULOUS.
They had a small quilt show for their guild and they used my quilt, June Jubilee, as the inspiration for their quilters pin.
What an honor, it really turned out great! It is so exciting to see your work used this way.
And of course the weather is turning nice so I had a beautiful drive down there and back.
Thanks girls for such a great week-end for my first outing after my foot surgery.
