Piecing together this project is made easy with the help of my handy moveable design board. It allows me to have it sitting right behind my sewing machine chair for easy access.

I made this design board from a flattened cardboard box with a crib size batting wrapped around the box and then taped to the back side of the box. I love this board it is easy to move and all the pieces stay stuck to it when I do move it.

This allows me to easily piece each row and then piece the rows together and to keep everything in order while I’m doing it. I can work on it as much or as little as I like.

I just love this project.
