In The Sweet Spot,
everything in life
what you do.
how you dress.
the way you love someone,
and how you talk.
and your personality.
what you believe in,
and all your dreams.
the way you drink your tea.
how you decorate your home.
the music that moves you,
and how it moves you.
your grocery list.
the food you make,
and how you make it.
how your writing looks,
and the way you feel.
your life is art.
“I think everything in life is art. What you do. How you dress. The way you love someone, and how you talk. Your smile and your personality. What you believe in, and all your dreams. The way you drink your tea. How you decorate your home. Or party. Your grocery list. The food you make. How your writing looks. And the way you feel. Life is art.”

I had to remake this quilt recently. What follows are a few of the step outs.
Freida- I love your quilt remake and the demo shots. I especially love that poem! Did you write it? It is exactly what I think about life/creativity/art. Thanks for posting it.
That poem is awesome…as are the photos of your quilt remake. I love seeing the process. Do you fly by the seat of your pants or do you have a vision in mind before you start? I love the quilt.
Thanks guys, I did not write the poem a friend sent it to me awhile back, I don’t know if it was hers or by someone else.
As far as process goes, when I originally created this quilt it was by the seat of my pants, but for this remake I just remade the original because it is now one of my patterns. If I change it too much people get all “but the pattern doesn’t look like that”.
It is a remake for my booth to sell the pattern.
It’s true! Thanks so much for sharing!
