I head out tomorrow to teach at the Common Threads Quilt Guild in Columbus OH. I will give my Fun Fast Fusies lecture on Tuesday night at the Olde Gahanna Sactuary in Gahanna OH. This looks like a lovely place to be tomorrow evening. If you live close I hope you will stop in and have a listen.
I will have all my patterns, books and fabric there for sale before and after the lecture.
On Wednesday the guild will have a class at the Mifflin Presbyterian Church in Gahanna, OH, there will be 22 eager students ready to design their own version of my Laughing Leaves quilt. Every student starts out with a half yard of my hand dyed rainbow gradation, a fat quarter of grass green AND 1/4 yard of any color of their choice.
I love to see how the tops are all so different. This is a fun, inventive design class that is easy to do and liberating for the soul.
We also use many different decorative blades to create all the design elements in the quilt top.
The class is full, but if you are close and want to see what we are creating we always welcome visitors to come in and ah and oh over our success’s. We will be at the Mifflin Presbyterian Church in Gahanna, OH.
It is going to be a muggy ride down through Indiana and Ohio tomorrow. Thank goodness for air conditioning. But I do love to see all the farm fields fly by while I am driving. I especially love looking at the old barns in the fields. I will have my camera ready to shot pictures out the window as I drive by.
See you there?
