Cleaning

Permission and limitations: claim one, and reject the other.

Take your life into your own hands and what happens? A terrible thing. No one to blame. Erica Jong.

I don’t know about you but I seldom REALLY clean up my studio space.

It seems like I go from one project to the next always in a hurry to meet a deadline. I just surface clean to make room for the next thing.

I am going out of town for the next two weeks to teach on a quilting cruise through the Panama Canal and up the coast of Mexico. It should be fabulous and I am sorry if you are not going with me 🙂

But since I will be gone and all my projects are caught up to this moment I am picking up and putting away. It always feels so good to get everything in its proper place, I just run out of energy at the end of the day to do that on a regular basis.

Look at those clean surfaces!!

Frieda Anderson studioGeorgie doesn’t know it yet but he has to spend a few days at the kennel until our son can claim him. Oh well, he will lose a few pounds and get a bath and have his nails clipped, is that like being on vacation?

Enjoy your cruise. It’s been a long, long winter. I’ve always wondered how they balance the quilting and sight seeing. Do you quilt on the days at sea? Soak up some sun and gaze at that aqua water. I love it.

Have a wonderful time soaking up some sun. I’ve heard that quilting cruises are the best. You will be treated like a queen.
