Art Collection

Home again, home again.

It is so great to be back home after two weeks away.

It really makes you appreciate what you have in your life.

I love my studio space, and I have decorated it with wonderful small pieces of art that I have collected from other artist.

Let me share some of it with you, guz I KNOW you are as noisy as me and want to see what inspires me everyday when I go to work in my space.

A few of these pieces I have posted before but it never hurts to show them off again.

I love this little framed piece by Laura MaClay. I bought it last year in Houston. She makes mostly purses but I bought the framed art piece. It makes me happy every time I gaze upon it.

This is the art I bought this year at the Houston show.

It was an auction piece by one of my all time favorite artistĀ Janet Steadman.

I also sold a piece in the auction this year. I am not sure who bought it, but I hope it makes them very happy everyday as they view it. It was this fall version of my pattern Sister Trees.

It’s great to be surrounded by art in our everyday lives.

You can view some of my small quilts for sale and perhaps you want to treat yourself to some art this year for the holidays.

You deserve it you know.
