Level: Beginner to Advanced—One-Half
Day or full day class—No sewing machine required
1/2 Day fusing and design class. Using decorative rotary blades and fused hand dyed fabric students will create a one of a kind LEAF quilt. Frieda will show you fun ways to create strip units, leaves and stems, to achieve your woodland wonder.
Supply list for this class:
- Fabric Kit required $24 (two different 1/2 yards of Frieda's
hand dyed fabric totally 14 different colors)
- 2-3 yards of wonderunder (no substitutes please)
- 45mm rotary cutter with pinking and/or wavy blade +straight blade
- very sharp embroidery scissors
- rotary mat and ruler
- iron and ironing surface ( towel or mat)
- Instructor will make available to purchase, decorative rotary blades, hand dyed cotton and silk fabrics
