Boy it has been a rainy month of June this year. Everywhere in the news there is rain and here in Illinois is no exception.
I have to say that with all the rain the plants look great and my flowers are flourishing.
I was going through some photos of the year so far and came across this picture someone took of our booth in Paducah. I notice that Laura and I are both wearing sweaters as it was a rainy time in Paducah too this year.
On the last day of the AQS Paducah show we went out to dinner with our dear friend Wendy Richardson of the Quilt Tapestry Studio, she found a new restaurant in Paducah that has cat fish, yum. It was raining so hard that night that the umbrellas outside at the cafe where blowing upside down!
Anyway, I hope we dry out a bit and have a hot July and August. I want summer to be summer.
By the way I have listed my new fabric on the website, it is $20 a yard through the fourth of July. Get it while it is on sale.
No one came up with a new name so Tree Bark it is.
