Dying to Dye class

I taught a dye class at the Thimbles quilt shop in Lockport IL last week. The class room there is on the second floor with huge ceilings and tall windows and great light in a wonderful space. It is a joy to do a workshop in such a space.

The ladies all had a great time and they worked hard to get 48 fat quarters of dyed fabric. 4 different 12 step gradations, and then extra play pieces. IMG_0371IMG_0374

Resting a bit after a long day of work. Everyone went home tired and happy with lots of fabric to play with!

Here are some of their fruits of labor, Norma Lee and Camilie have sent me a photos of their washed and ironed fabrics.

I told them to cut them up and use them and go make more!!normaleeLockport2015
